The Salomon Buttermere Skyline™ is inspired by the pure challenge of tackling the iconic skyline of this favourite Lake District destination. Our route is a classic mountain loop of the Buttermere fells, taking in the famous Red Pike, High Stile, Hay Stacks, Dale Head, and Robinson summits, linking technical trails and magical Lakeland views.

The 2024 edition of the Salomon Buttermere Skyline™ will be the final of the Golden Trails National Series in the UK and the Netherlands, and it is organised by the team behind the phenomenal Salomon Skyline Scotland™ weekend, which is taking a rest in 2024. The Salomon Buttermere Skyline™ will likely be a one-off race.
